Evergone / The Old Paints / Jay Garrigan

November 16, 2017 @ 8:00 pm

Thursday, November 16th
Doors: 8pm | Show: 9pm
Tickets: $6

We’ve built a vision and it has now come to fruition. Colin Welch , James Stratford, Larry Kohler and Scott Harding bring you Punk Rock Horsepower!

The Old Paints
The Old Paints formed in 2013 after Breely Flower, the girl who plays the log, met Andy Harris at his weekly open mic. The duo has since performed hundreds of shows all over Alabama and have toured the Southeast and East Coast steadily over the last two years. Michael Carter and Ramy Noureddini are their 15th and 16th bass players, respectively. The other fourteen are dead.

Jay Garrigan
Jay Garrigan, whose voice has been compared to a mix of Rob Halford, Freddie Mercury and Jeff Buckley, writes skewed, confessional rock/pop songs and currently performs them with his band The-Eyebrows. Also, Jay constantly records solo material and occasionally produces other bands in his Stealth Kitty Studio.

His quirky, left-of-center lyrics and edgy, manic live shows helped win deals with major (RCA) and indie (Spectra Records) labels. In addition to leading his bands, he is also a noted guitarist, bassist and keyboardist in several Charlotte original rock outfits, and used to play keys and sometimes bass in Temperance League, who just put out their fifth record.
