DESCRIPTION:A philanthropic night with live performances and cocktails\, and conversation around women\, sustainability\, and wellness within our community. \nThursday\, December 1st\nDoors: 7pm | Show: 8pm\nTickets: $50 (includes entrance to a silent auction)\n• 21+ with valid ID \nJoin the conversation surrounding food insecurities in the Carolinas\, and what the women of this city can do to change the spiraling trajectory. \nWe are hosting a Winter Women’s Showcase to gather with like-minded women\, enjoy the amazing sound of local female musicians\, and take part in a silent auction featuring work from women-owned businesses. \nJoin us for cocktails\, mingle with friends\, and hear more on the effort to bridge the poverty gap in our food system here in the Carolinas. \nThis event is hosted by Carolina Farm Trust\, a non-profit in Charlotte with a mission to strengthen an equitable local food system in the Carolinas from production to consumption. Most of the cities in the Carolinas struggle to purchase fresh\, nutrient dense ingredients for their families. Gas stations and dollar marts are centered around convenience\, but neglecting the need for healthy and nutritious foods. Carolina Farm Trust is building the infrastructure needed to pivot the current methods of which we “support” our impoverished cities\, and reuniting the farmers with the consumers once again. \nWon’t you come and be a part of the conversation?
