Born and raised in Highland Park\, where they still reside\, zzzahara (the solo moniker of Eyedress/Simps guitarist Zahara Jaime) has witnessed both gang-blighted and gentrified L.A. along the same geographical blocks. Like the transforming city itself\, zzzahara has undergone massive personal changes\, their characteristic stoicism giving way to a newfound sense of purpose. Liminal Spaces\, their debut LP from Lex Records\, explores a life hanging in the balance between memory and possibility over frenetic Johnny Marr-esque guitar jangle. \nSigning to Lex Records\, zzzahara bumped up production values for Liminal Spaces\, enlisting industry vets Dave Cooley for mastering and Steve Kaye for mixing. Jay and Shawn have played in bands together since 2000\, and have known Darrin a bit longer than that\, but it wasn’t until 2018 that the rock-laden three piece came together in its current lineup\, with their first gig opening up for Power Pop god Matthew Sweet\, and started recording soon thereafter. FIGHT/FLIGHT was tracked and mixed by the legendary Mitch Easter at his Fidelitorium recording studio over the past two years\, and was mastered by Bill Skibbe at Third Man Mastering. The vinyl version of the record was also pressed at Third Man Pressing. \nRegionally in the SouthEast US\, the band is known for their manic live shows and eccentric\, off-stage personalities. Currently\, The Eyebrows are both booking shows across the SE region\, and are almost finished mixing their third album\, DOUBLE TAKE\, and are planning to release singles over the course of 2023.\nhttps://the-eyebrows.com \n  \nThem Pants\nA rock band from Winston-Salem\, NC made up of members from Alternative Champs\, Bandway\, Vetiver\, and The Husbians. Their debut album “Jeffership Starplane” is out now via streaming platforms. \n  \nBNDR\nBNDR is a solo project from Jon Lock that combines Electornica\, Ambient\, and Reggae genres… while conjuring the spirits of Prince and The Notorious BIG. He’s also joined by guitarist Jay Garrigan of The Eyebrows who adds improvisational\, etherial guitar sounds.

A steady hand through turbulent channels. \nIn many ways\, the band’s forthcoming release MuteThe Charm represents an exercise in addition by subtraction –creating a layered emotive experience through more organic means.At its core\, it is a pop rock record with chiming guitars\, melodic bass\, and rock solid drums– more aligned with the accessible sides of artist influences ranging from The Sundays\, Joy Division\, and The Stone Roses to Led Zeppelin\,Lungfish\, and 90’s indie rock band\, Seam\, than the band’s previous and more ambient releases. “MuteThe Charmis a back to the basics\, primal record\,” says Johnathon Ford. “It’s instrumental music without all the dressings.
